This pair make a smashing combo!
If you love avocado you know that it pairs with almost anything! Rich in healthy fats and high in anti-oxidants, adding avocado to your diet is a great way to up your nutrition and curb food cravings. I whipped up this salsa for an autumn combo for family taco night and it didn’t disappoint. This nutritious salsa makes a great top for taco night, on crackers and for chip dippin’!

ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados, cut into chunks
- 2 ripe green pears, cut into chunks
- 1 tbsp jalapeño, seeded, finely diced (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp quality honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Add avocado and pears to a serving bowl along with jalapeño (optional).
- Whisk lime juice and honey in a small bowl and drizzle over avocado and pear mix.
- Add salt and pepper to taste then toss to combine thoroughly.
- Mash a small portion (optional)
- Serve on crackers, dip into with a chip or as a filling for taco night!
