A little bit of this and a little bit of that goes a long way!
Jump start your morning with this potent anti-inflammatory breakfast smoothie which contains a little of everything you need to start your day on the right foot! This breakfast beverage is packed with anti-oxidant rich super greens and berries, probiotics and digestive aids, magnesium rich cocoa powder, anti-inflammatory roots of ginger and turmeric and tahini for added healthy fats and plant protein. It may sound like a lot of strange ingredients but it is delicious and so good for you!

- Dairy and Vegan optional (replace dairy ferments with a vegan option)
Ingredients (enough for 2):
- 2 cups plain Kefir or plain yogurt
- 1 cup non dairy milk of choice such as oat milk
- Large handful of greens such as spinach, pea shoots or kale
- Handful fresh mint leaves
- Finger of fresh turmeric root
- Inch piece fresh ginger root
- 2 cups fresh or frozen berries such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries
- 1 banana (optional but high in potassium)
- 2 tbsp pure cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp tahini paste
- 1 tsp spirulina powder
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until there are no solids remaining.
- Serve immediately
