Elderberry and rose-hips come together in this feisty immune boosting combo to combat viruses through the cold and flu season. Packed with anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C and quercetin, this team,  combined with cinnamon, cloves and ginger are anti-microbial and contain anti-inflammatory properties. Honey is also rich in supportive immune boosting properties and can ease sore throat and cough.

Ingredients;

  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried elderberry
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole clove-buds
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 cup dried rose-hip
  • 1/2 cup pure honey

Directions:

Add 1 – 3 tbsp daily to warm water or tea for a preventative measure or use 1 – 3 tbsp every few hours to help minimize active cold and flu symptoms. 1 – 3 tsp is recommended for smaller childrenElderberry and Rose-hip Syrup for Coughs and Colds.
